Below you can download five small dictionaries for use by hospitaleros. They are identical in structure and content. The introduction states: “This dictionary contains most of the terms used by volunteer hospitaleros in their work of welcoming pilgrims. The intention of this work is to provide a useful tool for those who do not know foreign languages, in order to improve communication between hospitaleros and pilgrims. The dictionary is available in Spanish, English, Italian, French and German. It is divided into thematic sections (kitchen, clothing, dormitory, numbers, etc.). Since it is a multilingual dictionary, each term in the source language is reproduced in the different target languages. It is an open work, to which other languages can be added, and whose terminology can be enriched by the contributions of hospitaleros and pilgrims.
